Most business owners think they need a sales page to sell an offer online, but in reality, you can sell your offer over the phone, on a webinar, via a PDF, or even directly from the checkout page.
Once you have a solid, proven offer that gets your clients results, that’s when I recommend entrepreneurs create their sales page.
Fun fact: When I launched my first mastermind for designers in 2017, I sold the first spot with an email list of 30 people, without a sales page.
Gold text, scripted fonts, and staged flat lay photos are all the rage right now. Does your desk really look like that? Probably not.
Don‘t get me wrong. I love good, clean design – and have nothing against gold scripted fonts. I get paid very well to create sales pages and web sites that make my clients lots of money.
But if you don’t make sure the copy compliments the design, and your funnel takes the customer on a journey that leads them to buy, you won’t get the results you want.
Most people create their opt-in hoping to build their list and sell their offers on autopilot, but they don’t put any systems in place to track the performance. And when it doesn’t perform, they give up.
Using strategic design with a conversion strategy to make every experience your potential customers have with you is top-notch will help you get more customers. Tracking your results, and making tweaks to your existing funnel combined with conversion copy and high-level design will help you hit your high launch goals!

I had no idea sales page design would be the thing that would set me apart, and have some people look to me as an expert when I first started my freelance design business in 2011.
In 2012, I came across people like Elizabeth DiAlto, Amy Porterfield, and Marie Forleo, and was totally fascinated by how they were marketing themselves online.
Eventually I bought courses and programs from all of them.
